About Me

Al​anna was born in Fairfax County, Virginia, but was raised in Lawrenceville, Georgia, which is just 30 minutes from Atlanta. She grew up in a large family with 5 brothers and 1 sister. Arts have been a huge part of her life since she was a child. From Elementary School all the way through Middle School, she participated in chorus and began theatre in high school, taking an Introduction to Theatre course. In her sophomore year, she saw a production of Newsies at the Aurora Theatre just 10 minutes away from where she grew up. In that instant, she got the bug. Since then, she has been involved in theatre as an actor, stage manager, director, producer, carpenter, and even a storyteller. She is currently an undergraduate student at Kennesaw State University pursuing a BA in Theatre and Performance Studies with a concentration in Musical Theatre. Alanna has worked on a number of shows at Kennesaw State University, but has also worked professionally at Woodstock Arts and Ballethnic Dance Company. Recently, she has begun working with the Alliance Theatre as a teaching artist and administrator for their drama camps.
